Dr. Deep Parikh is our experienced in-house prosthodontist at Richland Dental in Richardson. Over his 10+ years of practicing the art of restoring teeth, Dr. Parikh has helped thousands of patients revitalize not only the look and feel, but also the function of their smiles. His passion in life is being able to bring back his patients’ confidence through using his skills to restore their smiles. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Parikh first became interested in dentistry as a teenager. Since then, his passion has developed into a specific love for helping see his patients through tooth loss by rebuilding their smiles, whether that’s with cutting-edge solutions like dental implants or more traditional methods like dentures and bridges.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Parikh earned his bachelor’s from Bharati Vidyapeeth College in Pune, India, and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the renowned Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He also earned his master’s and Certificate in prosthodontics from Rutgers.
Dr. Parikh served as Chief Resident and was the winner of the Granger Pruden Award from the National Gnathological Society in New York. Dr. Parikh has also lectured at study clubs in New Jersey and internationally in Bangalore.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Parikh enjoys spending time outside of the office with his son and wife traveling and trying new foods. He’s also a huge car enthusiast. One interesting fact about Dr. Parikh is that he’s an incredibly detail-oriented person!
